The primary mission of Health Advocates is to provide "common ground" in dealing with adolescent health issues, with a specific focus on the controversial topic of human sexuality education. By focusing on student health, common ground is sought by bringing together various groups in the community to develop policies, strategies, and programs to meet the needs of students in the 21st century.
Health Advocates provides exciting, engaging, and entertaining trainings and workshops in Coordinated School Health Programs. Particular expertise is found in human sexuality and adolescent health issues.
Target audiences include school health educators, physical educators, administrators, school board members, school nurses, parents or anyone interested in the health and well-being of today's youth.
Workshops are tailored to the needs of the individual group or community.
